Wildberry Estate is a dream that has unfolded over three decades. The foundations  were f laid in 1992, when a modest stone house was built on a secluded hillside bordering the natural pine forest. Chosen for its remarkable setting, where pine forests, mountain valleys, and fresh mountain streams come together, the site offered  peace and connection with nature.

Over the years, life took the property in an unexpected direction. The stone structure became part of the local community. At different times, it served as a small village school and, provided shelter for livestock during different seasons. Quietly standing beside the forest, it became woven into the history of the valley.

In 2020, the estate entered a new chapter. Led by Tabassum and Khizar Diwan, two lifelong nature lovers, our family began the careful restoration and expansion of the property. We chose to preserve the original stone foundations and build upon them. Respecting the natural environment, every addition has been designed to blend with the surroundings. We have used many kinds of wood (biyaar, diyaar, darek, akhrot, kala darba) and stones that pay homage to the traditions of the Thandiani region.

Today, Wildberry Estate is more than a mountain retreat. It is the realization of a lifelong dream that provides a rare escape into the depths of nature.  We are delighted to share it with guests who appreciate privacy, forest bathing and being with the elements.
